#Madras ----> Not fully but mostly realistic commercial movie with local North Madras flavour :)
Karthi ---> Definitely good comeback movie but not his best and once again proves what a natural actor he is ..:) Terrific local acting !!
But in first half the main stellar performance were Anbu and Karthi!! Karthi perfectly played the second fiddle to Anbu :)
And all the supporting actors did their job perfectly ..especially Johnny character, Karthi's mother and Grandmother character :)
Music and Cinematography --> Santhosh Narayanan BGM and songs were the major backbone of the movie and the North Madras night life captured perfectly !! :)
Editing was neat in first half but could have reduced a bit in second half and the stunts especially the pre interval block was really superb :)
Overall a technical brillant movie with nice cuts !!
Director Ranjith makes a brillant first half but the second half is predictable and big letdown and has the influence of so many political gangster type movies !!
My feel was it would have been classic if the second half would had the same impact of the first half !!
Rating - 3.5 / 5 !! Watch for karthi acting and for its technical brilliance !!
Definitely Not a must watch..... but worth a watch for your money !!
