Manithan --- Movie Review

Manithan ----> Court Drama Genre !! 

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ----> Very good story with decent screenplay ..Director Ahmed has done a good job ( I have not watched the original) you won't feel it's a remake film. Nativity is so natural !! Solid dialogues too with a good characterisation scope for all characters !! 

Casting and Acting ---> Casting another biggest plus except Udhyanithi Stalin and Hanshika !! Hanshika has improved a lot but still they could have chosen some other tamil speaking actress for a Pollachi Girl role for even more nativity !! 

Here comes the biggest blunder of the film which actually killed the whole film is the casting of Udhyanithi Stalin !! Perambu illa soodu vaicha koda nadippu varatha pola !! He just destroyed the mood and feel of the film ... !! A serious intense gripping emotional film becomes a Unintentional comedy film !! Padathukum Udhay kum cohesion illa !! He is completely in different sync !! 

Prakashraj and Radha Ravi just lifting the film to different level but Namba Udhay Anna been a true sleeper cell crashing the film down !! 

Music, Cinematography, Editing and BGM ----> Santhosh Narayanan just in complete form both in songs and pulsating BGM but it's wasted by Udhayanithi Stalin !! 

Cinematography and Editing also top notch !! Flow and continuity is Brilliant !! 

Rating ---> 2.5/5 !! It's actual mark should be 4 out of 5 film but sleeper cell Udhayanithi Stalin brings it with his hard work to 2.5 !!!

 Any other average hero had acted it would have been a classic hit !! Here they missed the trick with poor selection of the protagonist!! 

Vetrivel -- Movie Review

Vetrivel --- Sasikumar Genre film !! 

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction --->  School la revision test ellam Nalla panni irruntha intha padathoda kadhai ah takkunu takkunu nu kandu pidikalam..because this story and Screenplay itself revision of previous Sasi Kumar films !!

Apart from Pre Interval Block even though it's predictable that 20 mins was very Interesting !! Predictable is not a problem but the problem is it's just copy and paste of his previous movies !! Characterization for all characters in the film is same revision !! Include Dialogue too that is also a revision !! 

Casting and Acting ---> Sasi Kumar eppaiyum pola athae character .. You should be have easily predicted !! Heroines were perfectly casted and their acting was also neat !! 

Thambi Ramaiah is another revision ... Over irritating acting and disgusting expression koduthu Siri Siri nu torture panni sava adicharu !! 

Music and BGM ---> D Immam also another revision !! Music or BGM rural film naa thavul and Nadhasuram adichu oru BGM !!

Cinematography and Editing --- > Same revision .. !! 

Rating -- 2/5 !! If you forgot what is revision ... Go and Watch Vetrivel ... Best revised film of the year !! 

Theri --- Movie Review

Theri ---  Commercial Film Genre !! 

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ---> Story knot is commendable ( even though its predictable and you know what is going to happen ) but Director Atlee is brilliant with some clean neat screenplay which doesn't make you bore !! No unwanted comedy scenes or over build up which we actually used to get see in big hero films !! 

Dialogues are simple and powerful ... Let it be sentiment or  love or Action ... Atlee mixed everything perfectly to cater all set of audience !! 

Casting and Acting ----> Top Notch casting. Vijay and Director Mahendran scenes were just natural. 

And the biggest plus of Theri is Vijay acting. We always speak about Vijay screen presence but Theri is the one where Vijay makes us dumbstruck with his natural portrayal !! 

Nainika and Vijay scenes are so much fun and realistic !! Nainika Dialogue delivery needs a special mention 👍

Radhika and Mottai Rajendran are show stealers with the limited scope !! 

Cinematography ---> George C Williams once again strikes with his wonderful angles, lighting and shots !! 

For Example : Look out for the Pre interval scene between Vijay and Mahendran round angle shot !! 

  

Music and BGM ---> GV Prakash Theri BGM is good and 2 songs were good !! But overall little disappointed with songs  !! 

Rating -- 3.5/5 !! Worth a watch for all set of Audience !! Atlee second consecutive hit !! Vijay has come back after the disastrous Puli 👍
