Pasanga 2 --- Kids / Parents Genre !! 

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ---> Strong story (with predictable screenplay due to Taare Zameen Par ) and dialogues are the major plus for the film !! 

The emotional connect and overacting performance from Suriya and Amala Paul ( due to Aamir  Khan performance in TZP)

are the major minuses which it pulled away from being a classic !! 

Casting and Performance ---> Two kids acting and their natural performance is superb but the consistency in acting from other characters seems to be artificial in some places so the seriousness of the subject is not able to be stamped in audience heart !! 

Music and Cinematography ---> Music and BGM was good .. Cinematography and editing was smooth !! 

Rating -- 2.5/5 !! Good movie unless If you have not watched Taare Zameen Par !!  

Thangamagan -- Movie Review

Thangamagan --- Family Drama Genre !! 

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ----> A neat story and practical screenplay with very very less commercial elements makes a solid good watch family film after a long time !! 

Director Velraj in VIP I thought he made a outstanding first half but he missed the mark in second half with unnecessary commercialisation but in Thangamagan he rectified it and made overall a good film !! Even though Dialogues were not in the league of VIP but it was effective throughout !! 

Casting and Acting ---> Characterisation were superb expect Amy Jackson !! Even she tried her best still you get a feel whenever she comes on screen that you are watching a tamil Dubbed Hollywood film !! 

But apart from that - Dhanush, Samantha, Radhika, KS Ravikumar shines with their wonderful portrayal of their characters !! 

Music and BGM ---> Anirudh rocks again with the songs  !! BGM effect illa but still he brought out the feel of the film !! 

Rating - 3.5/5 !! Solid watch !! A very good practical family drama after a long time !! Go for it !!
