Maya --- Horror Genre !! 

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ----> Very Simple plot but extraordinary storytelling added with some astonishing detailing and performances makes Maya :) :) 

Biggest drawback for a horror film is the story and some typical cliched moments ! Even though lot of horror movies has come out... very few stands out !! Maya is one of them :) 

It would be very difficult to believe that such a class horror film was made by lot of debutants !! Such was the quality of the film !! 

No big surprises as far as story is concerned but where the film scores is with some good authentic genuine fearful horror scenes !! First half in lot of places slight beedhi would surely be there !! 

I am just waiting for the Director Ashwin Saravanan next film :) :) 

Casting and Acting ---> Nayanthara's best till date with subtle acting :) just shows what a quality performer she is if the script demands !! 

Remaining characters were sketched so well with clear explanation to the audience about them !! 

Cinematography, Editing, Sound Design and Art Direction ---> One of the best Cinematography I have seen this year !! Absolute bliss :) 

Same with sound design and mixing -- Great work and detailing !! 

Editing was TOP notch !! The continuity and the slight slowness adds beauty to the film !! 

BGM ---> Another debutant just steals the show especially during the climax 10 mins !! Brilliant :) :) 

Rating - 4/5 !! Must Watch in Theatre !! Class movie just overtakes Demonte colony and becomes the Best Horror movies in recent times in Tamil Film Industry :) :)

Trisha Illana Nayanthara --- Romantic Comedy or Adult comedy genre !! 

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ----> After watching the film first doubt I had is what genre is the film ?? Is it Adult comedy or Romantic comedy or a spoof film or a sarakku genre film ?? 

In Tamil 'A' certified films are quite less !! Since the teaser and trailer it was very clear that it's a Adult comedy film, personally I expected lot of Adult comedies but it was very few in the film !! I felt Director could have taken more advantage of 'A' certificate and crafted some very good meaniful scenes with Adult comedy !! 

130 minutes runtime athula 100 minutes in Sarakku scenes than !! It was irritating to be honest !! 

At the end what I felt as the film was its very vague and confused !! Dialogues were good in some places and flat in other places !! 

Casting and Acting ---> GV Prakash tries hard and improved from Darling but still a long way to go in emotion scenes n all !! 

Anandhi was good ... Manisha Yadav sorry I didn't  notice her acting ;) 

Music and BGM --> Both were okay !! Especially Visuals in some Songs Vera level gilmas !! 

Cinematography and Editing ---> Padam full ah set la eduthu irrukanga pola !! After sometime it was easily noticeable !! Average !!

Rating -- 2/5 !! For Manisha Yadav , Anandhi and some good adult jokes !! 

P.S --- Some memes or post I saw it was saying that TIN as American Pie of Tamil cinema .. I have a doubt whether they have watched American pie or not !! It's not even a 0.1 % close to American Pie !! 

Yatchan -- Movie Review !!

                               

Yatchan --- Commeria film genre !! 

Story, screenplay, dialogue and direction ----> Good knot but pretty average screenplay ,dialogues and acting makes it not a memorable film to remember !! 

Vishnuvardhan typical style and making can be seen in places but if you have such a old plain screenplay you can't save the movie with just the making !! 

First half was okay, director tried to build up his characters and the suspense but in second half it reaches rock bottom !! 

Casting and Acting ---> Heroine selection were good and apt !! They also performed well !!

 Arya and Kreshna tried but that cohesion is missing !! Especially Kreshna has scope and tried hard forcefully to make a impact but engaging factor is not there !! 

RJ Balaji has acted some 5 films and in all his films his comedy were pathetic including this one !! 

Story will be strong when the villian is strong... Here that is another major drawback !! Villian acting and looks ellam comedy than varuthu bayam varala !! 

Music, cinematography and Editing ----> Yuvan is back both with decent songs and good BGM :) 

Same with cinematography ... Lighting, colouring, angles all were superb ! Kudos to Om Prakash !! 

Rating -- 2/5 !! Romba boring weekend and nobody to hangout means poi pakkalam !! Illati better skip it !! 

Paayum Puli -- Movie Review (Tamil)

Paayum Puli --- Crime Action Drama !!

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction -----> Suseenthiran's biggest plus is making a thin storyline into exceptional realistic screenplay !! Here it has some story and the screenplay but the cohesion between story and screenplay is missing !! So as you watch the film you cant label it as mokkai or good....it falls in between average range !!

Last 3 films are hit for Suseenthiran so naturally the expectation would be there ....but the first half was very poor, if you measure it with Suseenthiran capacity. He takes such wonderful romance portions which will be short and sweet...but here it was bad!

Second half we can see the traces of Suseenthiran especially towards the climax portion...but at the end you feel its very less for us to get satisfied !!

Kajal same character as we see in most of her tamil films and recently she did the same character in Maari too !! Dont know when this loossu pidicha ponnu character remove pannuvanga in tamil cinema nu !!

Casting and Acting ----> Vishal and Samuthirakani steals the show !! Remaining characters did their job !!

Soori is one of the most over - overrated comedian ....here two or three places comedy was okay but athuvum already Vadivelu and Vivek did it before !! Irritating acting !!

Cinematography ---> Night portions were good atha thavira perusa or pudusa onnum illa !!

Music and BGM ----> Disappointed with Imman....One song was okay....remaining waste !! BGM was good !!

Rating -- 2.5/5 !! Not a bad movie ...but a ordinary movie from Suseenthiran !! Vishal and Suseenthiran combo this time misses out !!
