Thani Oruvan --- Movie Review

Thani Oruvan ----> Investigative Drama Genre !! 

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ----> Some films we feel we should watch 2nd time in theatre .. This is one such film :) 

Wonderful plot but the highlight is the crisp and engaging screenplay !! Another plus is the realistic presentation with no big logic loopholes !! Director Raja has nailed it :) 

Only two song in the film if he had taken it off ... It will be easily the best screenplay of the year !! Add to that dialogues and detailing !! Hats off to Director Raja :) 

Casting and Acting ----> Director Raja always chooses the characters well for his films and in Thani Oruvan also he did it again !! 

Aravind Swamy just steals the show  ... Jayam Ravi shows us all what a terrific performer he is !! Natural actor !! 

Thambi Ramiah characterisation and other characters were etched out perfectly !! 

Cinematography and Editing ---> In trailer itself I liked the cinematography and as expected Ramji doesn't disappoint in the film :) outstanding work !! 

Music and BGM ---> BGM was Okay  .. Songs were also okayish type !! 

Rating --- 4/5 !! Must must watch  !! Jayam Ravi , Aravind Swamy and Jayam Raja is back :) :) 

Easily would be in the list for One of the best films of the year !! :)

Vaalu --- Theriyala Genre !!

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction -----> Story innavum theditu irrukan...Screenplay ellam TV serial range ....Climax varaikum padam orae edathula irrukum...It has all ingredients to make it a good serial but not as film !!

Padam arambichu 2nd min la therinchirum next 2 hrs 35 mins torture irruku nu !! Ithukku apparam naa detail la onnum solla vendam nu nenaikaran !!

Casting and Acting ----> Old Simbhu is back with his little bit of finger vithai and karuthu dialogues which is seriously irritating and ishatakku pesi irrukaru sila dialogues ellam...Slow motion la kettu koda puriyathu antha dialogues ellam !!

Hanishka va nadika sonna konju konju kadppuyin uchathukku kondu poiruva !! Saving grace is Santhanam comedy but his screen presence is less !!

Music, Cinematography and Editing ----> one song was okay remaining ellam noise pollution from Thaman !! In the film Simbhu Father will hear songs during his sleep...antha songs were better nu i felt !!

Editing proper ah panni irruntha max 10 to 15 mins padam than thaeri irrukum !!

Rating -- 1/5 !! For Santhanam Comedy !! Free tickets kodutha koda try to avoid if you are not diehard Simbhu fan !!

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ----> Story, Screenplay ellam ethir pakkurathu is our mistake going to Director Rajesh Movie !! So I didn't do that mistake !! But scene by scene ..the setting...the costumes ellam orae mathiri irrukathu than accept panna mudiyala !!

2hrs 30 mins film ....and continuous kalais in that...1000 kalais la oru 20 or 30 places you can laugh !! First half was okay kasta pattu pathuralam but second half ellam patience poi yeppa da padam mudiyum nu mathiri irrukum !!

 Flashback...Flashback kula flashback....Chinna Kulanthaiku koda theriyum antha flashback la ena varum nu !! Itha yeppa Director Rajesh Niratha poraru nu theriyala !!

Casting and Acting ----> Santhanam one liners were better but still its getting repetitive and boring after a point !! Arya same character as Boss engira Baskaran !! Periya difference onnum illa !!

Music, Cinematography and Editing ----> Songs were good....Cinematography by Nirav Shah nu pottu irrukanga but pakkakum bothu athu mathiri onnum theriyala !!

Rating ---> 2/5 !! Better watch Boss engira Baskaran, Ok Ok again... !!
