Kaaki Sattai --- Movie Review ( Tamil )

Kaaki Sattai ----> Commerical film genre !!

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction -----> Very old police story template ....now latest love for most director is organ donar racket pola !! In last one year I have seen (latest Yennai Aarindhaal ) in three films with this plot !!

I was afraid after the film got over they might ask our organ for some donar !! nalla vella kekkala !!

Dialogue was okay...Pattukottai Prabhakar could have been even more crisper !!

Casting and Acting ----> Siva Karthikeyan is the biggest plus...you can surely see the massive improvement in him...Dancing , Acting , Screen presence, Body language ellam irruku...It was very convincing to see him in a serious role :)

Innavum konja dialogue delivery improve pannalam ...it seems for most scenes oru kalaikara tone la irruku ...he need to little bit subtle !!

He has got the capabilities of a good actor but his script selection is pathetic ...!!

Remaining characters ellam intha script ku okay !!

Intha comedy scene  ku munnadi konja Smooking ku warning podura mathiri..... vara pora scene comedy nu  pottu it will be helpful for us to get into the comedy mood for persons like me !!

Cinematography ---> Periya scope illa..Sukumar did his work well !!

Editing ----> With this screenplay ....this is the best editing a Editor can do !!

Music and BGM -----> Songs were okay...BGM as usual super but not Anirudh's best !!

Rating --- 2.25 /5 !! Worth a miss film !!!

Unless if you are a die hard Siva Karthikeyan fan ...200 percent you can give a miss without any regret !!

Badlapur --- Movie Review (Hindi)

Badlapur ----> Crime Revenge drama genre !!

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ------> In first 15 mins the story is told clearly and you think what the Director is going to do for next 2 hours ...Thats where the creativity of the director scores and makes it interesting till the end without boring :)

Dialogues are strong and witty at places !!

Casting and Acting ----> Varun Dhawan best till date !! Very difficult character to portray...but pulls out easily at the end :) 

Nawazuddin Siddiqui -----> He just oozes the screen with his presence ...:) Whatta performance !! The last 15 mins of the film especially the  scene between him and Huma Qureshi ..... just it was in different level :)

Huma Qureshi & Radhika Apte ----> Acting wise scope was less....but glamour wise it was high ...Both looked sexy and did their role well !!

Remaining characters did their job well :)

Cinematography and Editing ----> Perfect and Neat !! No unwanted songs or scenes...and Film was sleekly edited!!

Music and BGM ----> Album was already hit and BGM was very good...it just helped to lift the film !!

Rating -- 3.25/5 !! Surely one time watchable for Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui extraordinary performance !! 

Even though lot of positives are there and Wonderful inside story, characterisation and message in it --- it will end as a film some may like and understand it and some may don't like it!! 

Kingsman : The secret Service --- Movie Review (English)

Kingsman : The Secret Service ----> Action-Spy Genre !!

Story, Screenplay and Direction ----> Simple Straightforward spy story with interesting and fresh commercial screenplay is the biggest highlight of the film :) 

Even in serious situations, dialogues are simple and fun all throughout !!

Casting and Acting ----> Apt casting and all the characters did their part well !! Samuel L. Jackson steals the show as usual :)

Cinematography ----> Typical Action film - shots and angles !! Neat throughout especially liked the Bar fight scene and the climax - wonderful cinematography !!

Editing ---> Full marks for editing ...the continuity....the fastness in the screenplay ...the flow all were there :) 

BGM ----> Theri BGM !! Especially for the character transformation during the climax !!

Rating --- 4/5 !! Must Watch !! Film for all set of audience and wonderful inputs about the spy service !! 

Story,Heroism, Comedy. Action, Emotion ....its really difficult to see all these in a single english film!!!

But Kingsman : The Secret Service --- delivers all the above and satisfies us all with a smile :) :) 

Anegan --- Movie Review (Tamil)

Anegan ---> Romantic Thriller Genre !!

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction -----> Already we have seen this story few years back in a superhit film...but where it stands out is the presentation of the script with neat dialogues, enough suspense , confusion and it keeps us guessing :)

I had a doubt why Dhanush accepted this script where i felt his acting scope was very less...but Kali and Kalyani portion la he showed the reason for accepting it !! The highlight or the boast for the film is definitely that portion where Dhanush was simply in vera level !! :)

Casting and Acting ----> Good casting...Amrya Dastur was okay but we cant fault her since its her debut film...but i strongly felt maybe some young actress with potential ku poi irrukalam...so the impact would have been even good !!

Inspite of it, Dhanush and Amrya chemistry worked out :)

Karthik , Ashish Vidyarthi and other supporting characters were in complete control !!

Cinematography -----> Another film where the cinematography speaks with audience....!!

For ex: Coffee Mug is thrown down and another scene will be linked with it ...!! Interception of Kollam with number of days !! Ithu mathiri anga anga the linking were good !!

Editing ----> One of the neatly edited films with good flow of scenes !! Anthony was on Sync !! :)

Music and BGM ----> Danga Mari picturisation was too good and remaining songs also were okay!

But in BGM , I could easily say it was Harris best in very long time !! Especially for Ashish Vidyarthi ku oru BGM irruku athu ellam full merasal !! :)

Rating -- 3.5/5 !! Surely Worth a watch movie !! Complete commercial family entertainer !! KV Anand is back eventhough its a known story or seen story !!

Fifty Shades of Grey --- Movie Review ( English)

Fifty Shades of Grey ---> Erotic Romance Drama !!

Story, Screenplay and direction ----> Normal person who looks for romance in one side Vs Abnormal person looking to satisfy his sexual pleasure the other side !!

Story wise okay ....but impact of romance was not strong ...It was very unclear !!

Sexual desire part was good due to Dakota Johnson ;) ;)

[ full seiyuthal by the hero !! Valkaiya  valuntan paiya pula!!] (for tamil audience)

Casting & Acting ---> Good selection and good neat portrayal by both actors !!
Especially I loved Dakota Johnson expressions !!

Cinematography ----> 15 to 20 mins of sec scenes were taken at perfect angles and perfect light :)

[Kandippa oru periya kalai rasigan ah than irrupan ...15 to 20 mins sex scenes ..ellamae valachi  valachi angles pathu eduthu irrukan !! ;) ( For tamil audience )]

BGM ----> Mild and silent in most scenes which made the perfect mood for the film !!

Rating -- 3/5 !! As a film it is very Average !! Watch for Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dortan performance !!

Shamitabh --- Movie Review (Hindi)

Shamitabh ----> Drama genre !!

Story, Screenplay , Dialogue and Direction ----> Creative thought laced with neat witty screenplay throughout with some good dialogues !!

Watch out for Piddley  song for some creativity !!

Casting and Acting -----> Wonderful apt casting !!

Dhanush initially challenges Amitabh and Amitabh challenges Dhanush and this trend goes on till the end :)

Lot of acting scope was there and Dhanush took it in both hands and delievers royally !! He is seriously in different league !! :)

Amitabh was just on par with Dhanush with his dialogue delivery and his timing :)

Akshara  --- She acted really well and doesn't seem it was like her debut film !! Lot of tough scenes with Dhanush and Amitabh but she was comfortable and did a commendable  job :)

Cinematography ----> PC  Sreeram just delivers again with his wonderful angles and shots !!

Editing ----> Top Notch ...The flow of film was just outstanding !!

Music ----> BGM - especially the last 10 mins ..it was heaven !!

Rating --- 3.5 / 5 !! Worth a watch !! Dhanush + Amitabh clicks and watch for them and 2nd consecutive hit for Dhanush :)

P.S -- There will be a thought after reading this reveiw ....ellamae nalla irruku nu solluran yen 3.5 than nu...watch it you might get the answer !! 

Yennai Arindhaal --- Movie Review (Tamil)

Yennai Arindhaal ----> Action Thriller Genre !!

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction ----> Standard GVM Cop story Template....presentation of the script pattern is same ....but the execution of the script looks different due to the presence of Ajith (maybe after a long time we see a Ajith with no mass scenes or dialogues and concentrates more on his acting ) which makes it new :)

Its a typical GVM type of filmmaking where he tries to establish the character strongly in the first half and moves the story rapidly fast in second half  which has worked for him in the past and here too he strikes gold with that approach :)

Casting and Acting ---->Ajith once again showcases that he is a great actor if the script and director demands it !! :)

Arun Vijay -----> I love his acting especially in Thadaiyara Thaakka and was feeling bad he was not able to achieve big....but this Victor Manohar might be the one which may give him the much needed break :) Especially the climax portions, he was on par with Ajith !!

Vivek -----> Old Vivek was back with his typical one liners :)

Trisha and Anushka ----> Short role and both did their job well !!

Cinematography ----> Simple, Brilliant and Neat :) Dan MacArthur makes us notices his work !! I always loved the cinematography of all GVM films :)

Editing ----> Runtime makes you think it is lengthy and it was !! But honestly i couldn't find any scene where he could have tried to trim !! Unnecessary scenes or songs were not there !!

Music and BGM -----> Songs were good and BGM was equally good ...but Harris Jayaraj oda top notch BGM ithu illa maybe due to no mass or theri scenes !!

Rating -- 3.75/5 !! Worth a watch for all set of audience !! 

If Ajith was not there.... I could have been 3.25 or 3.5 /5 film, just gave that extra 0.5  for Ajith who came out from his typical commercial or logic less type films :)

GVM once again strikes with his Cop series !!!

Kaaka Kaaka....Vettaiyadu Velaiyadu and now Yennai Aarindhaal :)
